Hospital services are provided in the Headquarters, and El-Gouna Hospital. Both provide either “day-stay” for a few hours without overnight stay, or full accommodation as your condition requires.

Day-stay

Standard day-stay is provided in a double bedroom (see below), but it can be upgraded for an additional fee. This service is usually needed for minor interventions as kidney biopsy, cystoscopy or minor surgical procedures, administration of intravenous infusions or critical medications, or short-term follow-up in certain conditions. While on a day-stay plan, you receive standard medical and nursing care, meals if permitted, and you pay according to the number of hours you stay, plus the cost of treatment and professional fees. There are fixed-price “packages” for common day-stay procedures where the hospital covers unexpected expenses within a finite safety range.

Full accommodation

Full accommodation is needed for surgical operations beyond minor interventions, as kidney transplantation, open urological procedures, and other surgeries. It is often needed for patients with acute conditions ranging all the way from renal colic to acute kidney failure. Prices are calculated according to the number of nights you spend in the hospital, provided you check out before noon. Additional hours are calculated on day-stay basis.
